
John Garcia Jr of CuseNation.com is reporting that Syracuse has added another linebacker to their class of 2013. This one is a local product out of Brighton High School in Rochester, NY. Devan Carter made his pledge at a camp in Buffalo held by the Syracuse football program.
Carter is listed at 6'2" and 217 pounds, according to his scout.com profile. Carter is the sixth commitment for the 2013 class for the Orange, and joins Wayne Williams as commitments from the Empire State.
Carter played running back in high school in addition to linebacker, but was recruited as a linebacker. According to Garcia Jr, he ran a 4.52 40 time, and a camp best 4.23 in the short-shuttle.
