Back in February, we spoke with 2015 point-guard prospect Isaiah Briscoe. The high school teammate of 2013 prospect Tyler Ennis and sister of current Syracuse women's basketball player Iasia Hemingway spoke with Adam Zagoria and gave an update on his status.
According to the report, Briscoe is leaning towards Syracuse because of his sister. He expects to make his decision sometime this summer. Briscoe also told Zagoria that he and Ennis have spoken about playing together. Ennis even said he hopes Briscoe goes wherever he does.
Syracuse has been considered the favorite to land Briscoe for some time. But this is the first time he's actually spoke about it. If he chooses Syracuse within the next couple of months, the Orange would land a commitment from the class of 2015 before they got one for either the 2013 or 2014 class.
UPDATE
Briscoe has told us he's not a Syracuse lean. You can read the details here.
