John Garcia Jr from CuseNation.com reports that Syracuse football has picked up another commitment for the 2013 class. This time, it is linebacker Marqez Hodge out of Miami, Florida.
Hodge marks the fifth commitment for the 2013 class. According to Garcia Jr, he's a 6'1", 210 pound prospect. Hodge continues the Florida pipeline for the Orange, who have also grabbed Tyler Provo this year. The 2012 class featured two Florida players, while the 2011 class had four. He attends the same high school, Miami Central, as current Orange players Durell Eskridge (S) and Oliver Vigille (LB).
Hodge also had offers from Minnesota, Marshall, and Western Kentucky.
According to cfnews13.com, Hodge committed with teammate Devonte Duclos who's also a linebacker. However, Garcia Jr tweeted out that is not the case. Duclos does hold a Syracuse offer, but has not committed.
