Reports from earlier today indicated that George Morris and Myles Hilliard were not on campus during the summer football session. The rest of the incoming freshmen, and Iowa transfer John Raymon, were on campus. We reported earlier that Hilliard was attending Milford to shore up his ACT score. Reports about Morris, however, were not accurate according to several players.
Wayne Morgan, Omari Palmer, and Jerome Smith all told Nation of Orange that Morris was on campus. In fact, Jerome Smith tweeted out that he had dinner with Morris and several other players. Palmer even told us that Morris participated in team activities today, including workouts and practice.
It appears concerns of Morris not being at Syracuse were erroneous. That is a huge sigh of relief to Syracuse fans, as Morris was considered one of the most talented in the 2012 class.
