Ramar Dennis is a DE/OLB from Orlando Florida. The 2013 prospect has numerous offers, including Syracuse, Temple, and Cincinnati among others. We spoke with Dennis to discuss his game, recruitment, and what he's looking for in a school.
Nation of Orange: You tweeted out a picture of yourself wearing a Syracuse t-shirt. Have you committed?
Ramar Dennis: No sir. I just had a shirt in my closet.
Nation of Orange: Are they your leader right now?
Ramar Dennis. They are in my top few, but aren't my leader. My recruiting is wide open at this moment. The other top programs are the ones I have offers from. South Alabama, Northern Illinois, and Cincy.
Nation of Orange: Who from Syracuse is recruiting you?
Ramar Dennis: I honestly don't know. Their recruiting coach for this area was down and told my head coach that they offered.
Nation of Orange: What about Syracuse is attractive to you?
Ramar Dennis: I really like the stadium. But I'm not really that familiar with the school or program yet.
Nation of Orange: Besides those who have offered, who else has been showing interest?
Ramar Dennis: Purdue, South Florida, and Iowa State.
Nation of Orange: Tell us about your game and what type of player you are.
Ramar Dennis: I'm a very physical player. I play sideline to sideline. My weakness is my speed. I run a 4.8 40. I have improved it, but it's still my weakness.
Nation of Orange: What will you be working on this summer besides your speed?
Ramar Dennis: My strength. I'm strong in the bench, but not as strong in the power cleans.
Nation of Orange: What will be the most important factors for you when decided where to play college ball?
Ramar Dennis: Education. I'm going to major in Engineering.
Nation of Orange: Any plans to take visits either this summer or in the fall?
Ramar Dennis: No sir, not yet.
Nation of Orange: Who were your favorite college and pro teams growing up?
Ramar Dennis: Florida State for college and Washington Redskins for NFL.
Nation of Orange: Tell us about yourself off the field.
Ramar Dennis: I'm a laid back guy. I love lifting weights and being around my family. Music wise I like listening to Drake.
